I went into te LGS to buy some 22 LR ammo and 9mm ammo. I was wearing my VietNam Veterans hat with Corpsman Pin on it.

There was a man there and his Grandson. He came up to me put his arms around me and started crying and said Welcome Home Doc.

His Grandson asked Grandpa why he was crying the man said remember the scar I showed you on my back, if it wasnt for a Navy Corpsman like this man I wouldnt be here with you.

He said it takes a real man and friend and comrade to do what this man did, to put his life on the line to save his Marines.

Well deserved Doc, I'm sure many other fellow Navy (and Marine) veterans feel the same way the old gentleman does about Corpsmen. Well deserved recognition.
