Looks good to me lane. Besides, I never look a gift-horse in the mouth.

oh, when you make it, remember I need a sight channel, I have a .195 front sir.

This has nothing to do with horses or dentures. Make sure we get it right. What you want. I didn't mold a sight channel in the mock up but there is plenty of room and I'll use a small dwell or something to mame sure there's plenty of space.

Lane,

It's turning out very nice. You turn out some beautiful holsters.

Default Prototype #2

OK - I think I've got it. The next one will be the "production" version. For me, it seems to take 3 tries to get a pattern the way I like it. Anyway, I lined and dyed this one and used the vacuum press to make sure everything was close - and I made it wrong handed.

Here it is fresh outta the press:

Here's the resized belt tunnel - I got it right this time:

and the back view:

Dave - take a look and give me your input. I'll remember to mold in a sight channel in the final version.

Lane

Looks great Lane, like the color too! You just gotta cut the belt loop. Did you add the extra you were talking about?

Yeah - this one is about 1/2" wider through the belt slot area. I also added 1/4" to the belt tunnel. I'm pretty happy with it so far - the hardest part is getting the stitching nice and tight to the slide. This one is pretty good.

Default Freshly dyed

OK - we are getting close. I've got the holster and matching belt (Dave has volunteered to be a victim...er, tester for my belts..) stitched and dyed.

Here's what they look like now:

And from the back. It's still a bit wet, but hopefully, he won't mind that I put my "mark" on it.

Tomorrow night, we'll get the holster wet molded.

Lane
