Now that Hodgdon owns Winchester Powder, here is a quick conversion:
Hodgdon Winchester H-110.......same as...........296 HP-38.......same as...........231 HS-6........same as...........540 (now discontinued) H-414.......same as...........760

yep, 231 still difficult to find, but HP38 still not easy to get a hold of either, around here anyways. I have about 14lbs or 231 but when that runs out someday I will have to switch I guess.
Such is life..change is inevitable!

BTW, HP38 was always the same as 231, 231 was just repackaged under the Winchester brand
