had to run to Kerrville this afternoon and stopped in a little gun/grocery/hardware store and they had tons of powder including 4 pounds of HP38. $25.99 a pound. needed to buy some bullets for my new sledgehammer so I only got one pound but it sure gives me hope for the future.

HP-38 is the same thing as 231. I would need to figure out how to ship it but if you want to pay the shipping costs and powder cost i'll get some and send you.

i'd gladly gift you some if I wasn't broke this week lol.

Hodgdon Winchester

H-110.......same as...........296

HP-38.......same as...........231

HS-6........same as...........540 (now discontinued)

H-414.......same as...........760

yep, 231 still difficult to find, but HP38 still not easy to get a hold of either, around here anyways. I have about 14lbs or 231 but when that runs out someday I will have to switch I guess.

Such is life..change is inevitable!

it's 's fault.

BTW, HP38 was always the same as 231, 231 was just repackaged under the Winchester brand
