Interesting they call it "Rafter L". Google "Rafter S" and get some coffee to read up on that goat rodeo. Stella (Rafter S) made holsters for Wilson for awhile, then started ripping people off. She got killed in a truck crash in Texas. Wonder if her old partner revived the company...I heard he was trying to clean up the mess she left

No it's a different entity, run by Erik Little. I remember reading how they weren't related in any way, and had to look it up to jog my memory. It turns out the name Rafter L is a family cattle brand that's been in his family since the 1800s. He chose the website domain combatgunleather.com specifically to avoid confusion between the two. I used to get the two confused. I looked into it deeper after meeting Mr. Little at a leather trade show a few years ago. This was right around the time the trouble with Rafter S was starting to rear it's head. I knew they were two different companies, but didn't know if I had met the "troublesome" Rafter or not. Turns out I had not.

I've paid over 2 bills for a custom leather holster several times, but that holster isn't worth their asking price, to me.

I thought it was overpriced.

The boning on the front was minimal, and nonexistent on the back.

Seems like my Brommelands go for @$140. plus $10. shipping.

I currently have three, and should be getting two more soon.

They take awhile, though, as Gary is a one man shop. The last two were ordered last August.

This is my Commander sized Max Con-V IWB:

Better craftsmanship for a lot less money in my estimation.
