Looking at the pic my fist thought was you should have a case made for them. Like a dueling set. Then I remembered your track record and they may not be together very long!

Do we have an "Ignore Button" here?

For the record, I have EVERY Colt (and revo for that matter) I've ever purchased!

I humbly and happily stand corrected! So dueling case?

Here's mine. Has the original grips and I had it Armoloyed.

Cool, is that a gunmetal gray color? Was the finish shot or did you just want something different?

The finish was originally blue, but Armoloy was the latest and greatest at the time and since it was a carry gun for me off duty I thought it was a good idea. Back then early 70's, it only cost $50 so I shipped it off to Texas and had it done. It has served me well all these years and actually is easier to keep clean, since the finish is kinda sorta like Teflon. I guess you could call it gray or even a brushed finish?

However, after grandstanding like that, I'll let you throw a pie in my face if I sell either of the aforementioned guns

Thanks folks - I'm really happy with them. Tomorrow I'll clean 'em up and hopefully get to the range soon. I have four guns that I've picked up over the last several months that I've yet to fire ... a fun 'punch list' to work through!

Very nice. I haven't owned a wheel gun for a long time. Not sure why other than I do not know much about them as I have not kept up. My last one, really wasn't one, a cowboy set up .22 that I popped partridge with snooping and pooping in the north Maine woods just east of Baxter State Park as a kid.
