It is only that price because someone will pay it. Stop buying it and the price will drop. So obviously peoe are still buying it at the double price.

Gun show prices are higher than that! $70-$80 per brick of 500.

Look at this listing on Gunbroker:
http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=448015842

Current bid $77.23 for a 500 count brick of bottom of the barrel Remington Thunderbolt, RESERVE NOT MET. "Buy It Now" price of $120 plus $22.73 shipping.

Thunderbolt, though not new, is the new rage and commanding super sick prices. If ya feel like a quick google you will find where Thunderbolt has supposedly left shreds of lead in barrels and cause malfs. And that it is supposedly OK to use now. Some good PR going on somewhere.

No need to add fuel to this .22 price fire. Plenty of good deals out there if you take the time to look. Unfortunately, the more people are willing to pay inflated prices, the longer it will take for prices to come down overall.

And here I thought the $50 per brick prices were a California thing, I guess not.

Sadly, the prices are that high because asshats are willing to pay it! If everyone would just stop buying from the gougers and flippers, the prices would stabilize and drop.

BOYCOTT GOUGERS AND FLIPPERS!!!!!

Big 5, a sports and everything else kinda store had WWB 333 count bricks for $49 a month ago, I ran out the door never to return......
