Sadly, nobody came to the rescue...pretty normal, no BG would attack where being stopped was evident. Here in Florida we have just over one million Concealed Weapons Licenses currently issued. It might be a fair estimate that 10% of the licensees carry a firearm at all. So we have 100,000 people who carry. Of the 100,000, maybe 10,000 carry daily. Of the 10,000 who carry daily, maybe 2,000 have firearm training. Of those 2,000 maybe 400 have extensive training. Of the 400 with extensive training maybe 100 have a true warrior mindset. Of the 100 with the warrior mindset only one person has the inclination to intervene to help a weak person. I am that one person, but I was drinking bttbbob's rum on his patio deck while he was at work. And this is why nobody helped. Kinda.

Basically very few people in today's society care about other people. Some may refer to today's social climate as modern society. I refer to the participants as Neanderthals. In short terms, people suck.
