Try turning the gun to perpendicular instead of GANGSTA style. That should solve most of the problem.

I had that problem with my CBOB and finally had the ejection port filed a little. Problem solved.

You are simply experiencing a "Lefty Moment".

Watched a fella at an indoor range long time ago, he was wearing a cowboy type hat and catching the brass in the top cavity portion of his hat. I was indeed impressed and halted my shooting to observe and admire the old fellas dexterity. Could be a possible solution to consider
