			Hi,

Finally took the plunge for a DW Valor. It is quickly moving up on my favorite guns list. Reading through the Dan Wesson section of the 1911 Forum, I knew I had to join. Although I am now on the uphill part of this learning curve, I hope I can contribute something worthwhile every now and again. Dennis

Never loved a Mimber, although I do like the look of the Royal II Kimber with the bone grips. Did have a Ruger with lots of investment cast parts - it was a sturdy weapon and I did like it alot.

From another Floridian welcome. By the way a very handsome firearm and one that I would like to get in the future.

			Welcome Dennis.

Where are you in Florida? My first PCS assignment was at MacDill AFB 1970-1973.

I live about 70 miles due east of Tampa in Lake Wales. Interesting you mentioned MacDill. We went there yesterday for the first time in three years to renew my wife's ID. Those active duty troops really are young. God bless them all.
