Well, the nine is back home and functioned well. It's a pretty accurate little guy. The wife is confident and has replaced her Kahr CM9 now.
The .40 also worked without a hitch. The first rounds of "DRT" I bought when I didn't know better were grouping terribly. Then I switched to a hodgepodge of 20 to 25 year old ball I had collected over the years and it did much better. It ate everything including hot Corbon 135's, HST, Ranger etc. Might make a nice little BUG. |

Addendum to the Shield story:
Today I installed the Apex duty/carry trigger kits. They were almost 100 bucks each, hard expense to justify on a 319.99 pistol, but really worth the expense! The first installation took quite a while and the ability to watch/pause the installation video was priceless. Second install was a piece of cake. The trigger difference is night and day on these little pistols. |
