Thank you and yes I painted it. Duracoat air dry paint, it should hold up well (I don't thrash my guns).

Burris FastFire III's are really nice little red dots, I've got two of them and a FastFire II.

I was looking at those for one of my Mini 14's. Decided to stick with irons and save the optic purchase for my pending LE6920. A lot of folks say go with an Aimpoint or EO - do you have negatives to report with your Burris optics?
