I was shooting mine today at 10m into the long side of my crossbow broad head block.
The pellets went all the way through. The wife was not amused.

Dang, I kinda agree with
![]() Only airguns I've ever had were Crosman airguns as a kid. Had the .177 pellet/bb rifle and the .22 pistols. Cool enough for plinking birds and such. |

Watch the ted's hold over vids. these rifles are amazing.
They are also one of the few things you can hunt with in CA and still use lead ammo. I know a lot of guys out your way use a pellet rifle to hunt quail.

Well, went over to Chuck's to reload and took the X2 with me. While I was there we gave it a half-azzed checkout due to the weather, it had just stopped snowing when we took it out back to fire it a few times. All Chuck had in the way of .177 pellets were some RWS 9.3 grain supermags(?) so, I loaded one up and aimed for a fencepost and fired. Recoil was very light but, it sounded like I just fired a .22LR! Chuck looked at me and went inside to get the Chrono. Set up the Chrono and five feet from the screens I fired three rounds; 1168fps, 1165fps, 1168fps! This was with heavier than standard pellets! The rifle is rated for 1000fps with standard match pellets,( 7.1 grain), this was great!
Only problem I have is with the scope. It's a BEEMAN 4x32 and it's blurry. No amount of adjustment on the ocular would correct it so, Ordered a BSA 3-9x40AO scope and mounts from Airgun Depot. Not really a big thing, I kinda figured it was a cheapy scope or it wouldn't have come with the rifle. Problem is, there are no open sights on it. So, gotta wait til I get the scope for any accuracy tests but, I'm expecting good results. The fence post I shot at first was a good 55 yards away and I hit it with the one shot. So, give me a week or two to get the scope/mounts in and mounted.
