Thank you all for the kind comments! But if it weren't for joining the 1911 forum, and then this cotep forum. And meeting all the fine people here, I probably would never have tried to make grips! So I owe you all a big thank you. So......THANK YOU

Beautiful grips! There is something about the dark red color that looks great with a black or blued gun.
