I originally complained that I put 750 rounds through my new Rock and it didn't even hiccup. I was disappointed that I wasn't getting the full "1911 experience" of FTF/FTEs..... well... here's an update.

Update: Another 1.5 months have gone by and I STILL am experiencing a No FTF/FTE problem. That's right. I'm being cheated out of my right to experience jams and misfires. And its all because I bought what "that guy" at the range called a "Junk Gun."

I've contacted Martin at RIA/Armscor to complain and he says "it's your problem" and that it's just something that I'm going to have to live with. It seems the new machinery installed at Armscor/RIA has dramatically dropped the incidence of Failure to fire.

Does anyone know of a 1911 that I can buy that will give me the "full experience" of 1911 ownership.... including the inability to feed flat nose and hollowpoint with any reliability?

Maybe its time to bring out the dremel.....

Help me!
Da
