Exactly Majo... What if I wanted to buy in bulk and then resell to "us mere mortals" or give them away to people like who always seem to lose theirs.... (hey ... at least I didn't say "who has a screw loose!) lol... Just wonderin......

Frankly, I'm not sure that I would want 100 of any one style. I think one of the few inexpensive ways to "customize" a 1911 is to change the grip screw around. VZ has spiffy screws: http://vzgrips.com/hardware/screws-and-bushings
There seems to be a significant variety.

I am currently waiting for my Longslide to come back from Robar. They buggered up the allen screw hole on one of the grip screws and they are ordering a matching screw and then they will NP3 Plus the screw and send the gun back to me, at their expense. Quite a bit of expense for one little screw, but Robar is a quality company.

Have fun.

The image I had was Michael having a fit after launching the MSH pin and throwing a fistful of grip screws across the room...

Oh, wait... that was me....

Actually.... the vision in my mind is the member (and I don't remember his name) whose wife threw out the paper towel containing all the pins and screws to his detail stripped 1911. I remember someone on the board asking for ANY extra parts. This was when I was first invited to join.

Michael,
I can't imagine a better excuse for buying a new 1911, than the wife throwing the old one (in pieces) out. I would at least try it once.

Have you tried Ebay? Believe it or not, there's a ton of 1911 parts on Ebay. When it comes to something like this, were manufacture isn't really that important...might as well get it from Ebay.

You have to be careful on 1911 grip screws!! Some are so cheaply made that you can twist the head right off of them.
