The most important feature to look for is the back support.

I found this an issue, but I think its the life vest I had. Was very bulky and just not fitting properly. I think when it does come down I need to get my pfd first then find a proper one with a great seat.

all I know about kayaking is that the thing goes in the water, I would have to paddle it to go anywhere, and that I really don't like being out on the water very much. But I would agree with "get one with good seats!" Because you're butts gonna get wet! OH! and don't tell Kaden very much about Wake boats and tri toons

....he wants a boat too. He likes to fish with grandpa so wants a "skeeter"....don't really know what that is but sounds very costly!

I am up for ANY father son activity but fishing I just can't do. I am not a fan of fishing for a regular hobby.

I swore off fishing as a kid. Well, "Bottom fishing" anyway. It happened when I caught the biggest "Sea Robin" and couldn't de-hook it. Dad forced me to do so and I just kept resisting. It made noises at me. "Croooaaaak." Dad was not budging. So I waited until the fish died and then de-hooked it and threw it back into the ocean. I had to do it with gloves because the spines are a bit venomous like lion/stone fish but not as severe.

I never went bottom fishing again. Maybe I'll go trolling for bluefish or Bonito or something but I won't go bottom fishing again.

I think you better sign up for overtime. Kaden can have it built to custom specs.

Your not kidding last night Kaden and I did a "build it" thing at we just broke $80,000 for his new boat. It would take me 20 years of OT to buy that!!!
