Those are really nice - I'd love to see some pictures/descriptions of how you do it. Have you tried checkering metal? Like front straps, MSH, etc?

I would be glad to help you as much as i can.But In the big sand box,there is a thread,I think it may be a sticky, By MR.SCIENCE. Dont know if you have read it or not,but he really goes in depth on how to checker grips. It really help'd me alot. And he has pics Feel free to pm me anytime with questions you may have. I'm still learning myself,but I will help you as much as I can, and maybe I can take pics on the next set that I do, if you think it will help!!
As far as checkering metal, no I havn't tried it yet,but I hope to one day!

Thanks Bsea! I dont Know about teaching,But I've def. put a lot of time into learning this craft. Made me mad that I kept screwig up,so I just kept trying out of frustration

I really like the look of those larger checkers and how it doesn't take away from the beauty of the wood.

Yea I do too,And the 16 LPI is much easier to do. The smaller ones are 18 LPI and really tough on my old eyes Thanks for all the compliments,I know that I've got a long way to go with this,but I'm pretty happy with my progress so far

I agree, the large checkering doesnt take away from the wood's beauty. Nicely done.
