Yes, Colt Hammerless, you did indeed....for me. It is the preferred ride for my beloved EDC Dan Wesson ECO. Thank you for a great idea and wonderful execution of that idea. Paul is a true craftsman. Dennis

Dennis, that is a beautiful holster and neat extra mag idea. Question. ..... If you need to do mag change (I pray you never do), how much would that location slow you down vs a mag holster on your week side?

That is the exactly the correct question and it is way slower for me. I have worked with it and settled on a snap on mag holder that I carry weak side as primary back up. I had not considered mag changes prior to my first range trip where I discovered exactly what you immediately recognized, I am not Houdini. Not even Houdini's grandfather. I do like the idea of the extra back-up but I had not planned it that way. I am fairly convinced that at my age it is not a good sign that I learn something new everyday.

Yep, I knew that one was your's Dennis. I was hoping to get a response like you gave, as I rarely get pictures of the customer's gun in a holster I made. I love the grips on that piece!

And yes, it's certainly a slower mag change than a dedicated offside carry, especially with that body shield behind the mag. Not for everyone.

Paul, I love the grips also to the point that I am still using them even after adding the arched MSH and magwell to the ECO. I hate slant cut grips on magwell pistols but these are the best Elk I have found. I would buy a proper pair in a N.Y. minute. The white is bright and shiny the bark is deep and black. I wish I could remember who made them for me. They look a lot better in person than in the picture.
