How to save on MidwayUSA shipping costs.

I knew that if you order something with free shipping and so shiny else small and they can put the secondary item into the same box that the free shipping item normally ships in then it can ship free but I didn't know a free shipping item may lower regular shipping charges. I will have to try that next time.
