Glock 44 range report with dirty pics.
This morning I managed to grab one of our Glock 44’s and put through its paces.
First impression. Pistol feels very light. After further investigation it revealed that the slide is also polymer with steel rails imbedded within the slide. While dry firing the trigger felt stiff like the original issues with Glock. As opposed to the better trigger I feel they now have with the 5th gen. Firing it. Manages the recoil very well. While understanding that I was shooting only .22’s I figured it might still be a little snappy from the light weight of the gun. Didn’t feel that way at all. Recoil was very manageable and follow up shots were very smooth. Not a Ruger or Browning, but nice nevertheless. The trigger was a non-issue once I started firing it. Trigger reset was crisp. No FTF or FTE. The only issue I had was that the front sight washed out on me at the 10 yard line. But, that’s with any pistol with a white dot front sight. Edit: Verdict. While it was a nice and pleasant shooter it’s not something I feel a need or want to add to my collection. Dirty Pics. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
