Colt Python. 4 inch Blued. Built 1977
OK, here we go, I have an opportunity to buy a Colt Python 4 inch barrel, blued, from a guy I know. Good Man. It's in Very Good Shape. For a 1977 built gun, it's real nice, It has been fired a lot, but the action is really smooth and light. It's in time. Has original grips and a Pachmayr grip. No Box or papers.
Guy wants $2000.00. I think that is a good price. Is it? If were to grade it, I'd say 90%. The finish is Very Good, the action is very good. Has some wear on the frame in front of the cylinder, but not abnormal. Never handled one before, but the action in double action is very light and smooth. I think that is Normal for these hand fitted wheel guns? Opinions appreciated! I am conflicted about buying it. Please help Me out here guys Thanks!
