my first Holster
finished this up last night.
it's a Tom Threeperson style in 8-9 oz tooling leather. I've been wearing it all day and it feels really good. for the most part i'm happy with it but I definitely made some mistakes. the ones I can see are I handled the leather too much while making the holster and both the thread and the flesh side of the leather got dirty. I punched the front stitching holes crooked, not so noticeable on the front but easily seen on the back. I used a little too much glue on the belt loop and ended up getting a little squeeze out. I think I left it 1/4" too long, something I should be able to fix. the dark spot under the trigger guard I believe is a flaw in the leather, it feels softer than the rest of the holster. it'll do for a work holster and I should be able to do better on the next one.
