I don't see this "ban" as enforceable, they put it up for public comment to see how lazy we are. And they are finding out lazy disappeared, again, when the ability have own/shoot ar's was being attacked again. I do not own an ar, never have. Never ceases to amaze me the cult following of the rifle. In a good way.

I just started my build, does that give me noob operator status?

I'm not too worried about the ban, I do know someone who just dropped 1k on ammo because of it.
