Question Best Kitchen Knives for the Money...?

Looking for recommendations on the kitchen knife set that won't break the bank. I have a few mixed knives we use but,bit is not a set and it looks funky in the block. She knows not to wash them in the dish washer already but, I think stainless would be preferable. Idk, what say you?

This

I've got two sets and have given away several others as gifts. They are excellent sets for the money.

We have a set of Henckle's we purchased almost 20 years ago. They still look almost brand new. I sharpen them from time to time--good knives. I don't recall how much we paid for them, but was just browsing the Net, and sets start at about $70.

Bought a set from Sam's Club several years ago.

Wolfgang Puck, and supposedly the knives were assembled in China of Solingen steel.

They're still in great shape, and hold an edge well.

I have a friend who bought a set before I did, and he still is using his, too.

I've got Chicago Cutlery as well. They arn't the best knives but they do take a good edge and hold it fairly well. The price is right, mine is a different set and I've had them several years.
