Holster and Belt Update
It's been a while - too long, as seems to be my MO...
I've been trying to keep things moving along at a good pace. Here's what I've got on the holster table right now: #1252 [IWB Commander] (redo, messed up dye job) : Wet molded this afternoon, drying #1258 [OWB Commander] : Dyed today, drying (this one's a convertible OWB/IWB. I'll post some pictures) #1259 [IWB Commander] : Dyed, to be airbrushed #1260 [OWB Commander] : Stitched today, cleaned, deglazed, drying #1261 [IWB Commander] : Lining glued in, ready to be glued and stitched #1262 [OWB Government] : Lining glued in, ready to be glued and stitched #1263 [OWB w/ Snaps Government] : Waiting for new leather shipment (this is the GoldenVolt karma holster, if there's interest, I'll document it's creation.) #1264 [IWB Government] : Lining glued in, ready for gluing and stitching #1270 [IWB Commander] : Lining glued in, ready for gluing and stitching #1273 [OWB Commander] : Lining glued in, ready for gluing and stitching With regard to belts - I have several cut out, glued and many of them stitched, and ready to be finished. On a holster, I will usually use a drum sander to smooth and true up the edges before beveling then dying. The drum fits in the contours and does a great job. But, it nearly impossible to use the drum for long straight edges - I wind up with little divots. So, I've ordered a new bench top belt sander that should allow me to get a better finish. Only the my very best for COTEP! Anyway, I'm doing what I can to keep things moving. Thanks again to my family here for the support, patience and encouragement! As always, if you have questions or concerns, feel free to comment here or via PM. Lane ETA: Details around 1258 special order.

Thank you for the update. Nice to know what the que looks like. Looking forward to it and the belt. Take your time on 1261. I'm still waiting on confirmation of my carry priveledges. Texas hasn't confirmed receipt of my backup materials (photo, certificate, etc.) from their mailroom. Mailed it 4/2/2012 and it hasn't cleared the mailroom yet. A 60 day clock starts when somebody walks my package down the hall from the mail room. Least I know they got my money, my information and my fingerprints already.

You are order #1272 - you'll notice I skipped your number in this list... I ran out of the leather I need to put yours together. I expect to have it this week sometime.
Lane

Hey, Lane, I was on your website looking for a new holster and thought you had a convertible but couldn't find a listing for one. then I saw you have one under construction in your latest list.. To order one, what do I need to pick? thanks, it's time I got on board with a Cotep holster. Ron
