Nuther Holster Concept
I've done this style for smaller pocket guns like the KelTec P11 and PF9, so I thought I've give it a whirl on my 1911 Compact. This time, I'm going OWB. This is fresh out of the semi-vacuum press (damn thing is leaking air...). Once it's dry, I'll put the top snap on and take it for a test-drive.

I don't remember seeing that one, Chief. I've been doing this style for a couple of years, just not in the 1911's. For a first prototype, this is close. I need to put some snaps on it and take it for a ride.
All that aside - is this something that folks would be interested it? Lane

I think an SOB would be nice to have, as we discussed earlier. The gun for me need to lay more horizontal, but easy to draw from holster. What makes a difference on how you're removing pistol from holster, butt up or butt down, changes hand position behind you back so which is the most reliable? It has to be concealable for sure.

I have an IWB SOB holster. The only time I felt uncomfortable with it was when I sat in a hard back chair. It's nice when riding the bike though.

I've had a chance to wear this one for a couple of walks, and around to the store, etc. I think this ones a keeper. Very comfortable, carries the weight very nicely.
I know it's not the best to have the spare mag on the strong side, but it's easy to have them together and I figure that a mag on the wrong side is better than no extra mag at all. I'll probably start offering this one from my web site in the next couple of weeks, after I tweak the stitching around the mag pocket. Lane
