Default Pic of my Range Officer

It's new, so I haven't had time to customize it, but I have had time to shoot it. I love this gun. Tight, and balls accurate. Here's a pic I took of mine.

Nice!! In my opinion, one of Springfield's better efforts...

I really like my RO... very accurate gun and lots of options or the money. I had to change the sights, I never cared for adjustables, but over all its nice shooter. I opted for the Harrison Designs rear sight, 10-8 brass bead front sight, a new plunger tube (mine was loose), flat trigger and a KART barrel bushing.

I have a build thread here:

I walked into my LGS and they had one left. I traded six guns I don't use anymore for it. I came out on the short end in the long run, but I have something I'll cherish and shoot a lot more than the six I traded.

I changed the sights on mine, too. My tired old eyes have trouble focusing on black on black sights. So I put a Kensight dot adjustable on the rear, and a Hi Viz on the front. Now I can see 3 dots; 2 white, and one high visability green dot in the middle. Now THAT i can see. Where do you get a brass bead front sight?
