Default Ammo Best Price Thread?

After seeing a post on another gun site, it got me thinking that maybe we should have a thread to post current ammo or reloading prices. I realize this changes a lot but if I know that a certain store is running a special I more than likely would go stock up on additional ammo.

What do you all think? And if we want this, I'm sure Alex wouldn't have a problem creating a new thread under the "Pulling the Trigger" posting.

I like the idea, Ron. Somebody sees a deal, posts it and all have an opportunity to tahe advantage. Good idea. Has my vote.

my local walmart has some fair priced ammo, at least as of yesterday. Remington 230gr, ,45ACP, 250 Rounds for about $95.00
Federal 9mm was $21 for 100 rounds (didn't see the gr.wt)
Federal 45 ACP was $29 for 100.
Seemed reasonable . . so I bought 45 remy and some 9 federal.

Just adding: The 50 rd Federal at the Wallymart is small primer, but the 100 rd bulk pack is large primer.

I too have been getting the Federal 230 grain 100 round Value Packs @ Wal Mart. $29.97 is the price now. When they 1st got em, they were $25.97!
I bought all I could get my hands on then! Heck, $29.97 is a GREAT Price too!
For 100! My Wal Mart even sells AR-15's! Looked at a NICE Colt today!
