Range invasion
Took Jake to the range to try out some reloads. Got there, put on his glasses and muffs, and headed down to the "C" (steel) range when I heard a .223 cracking....rounded the berm and the cracking became a blur of full auto. On the steel range. A 25 yard range. Turned out the be three Chinese who spoke very little English. By the time they were stopped, the Texas Star and 2 plate racks were destroyed. Now, being an RSO, I'm not supposed to swear. And I can't swear in Chinese. Yet. And my 6 year old was with me. But I wan't polite..and they had to write a rather hefty check to the range.
My reloads shot like petrified dog turds. 10 yards, 2 hand hold off the bench, aiming at a 3" stickie in the center of the target, I blew the target stand away 7" to the right. Repeatedly. 50 rounds and I didn't hit the stickie once. I dunno what's going on

Does your range rent full auto weapons without supervision?

So much for that high dollar WC being accurate as all hell!
Stoopid question, but did your front sight come loose or maybe your rear sight? To be off that much sounds like more of a sight problem than a reload/bullet issue. Then again, what the hell do I know? Seriously Mike, I hope you figure out what's going on and soon, components aren't cheap or easily available! They got chinese in Florida??? |

Did you follow up with loads that you know are POA/POI? That will rule out the gun or even the sights as mentioned.
Holy cow dung, wait a minute....this thread is older than dirt. LOL.....never mind I guess. |
