Default Pair of Ponies!
My first (and second) Colt Detective Special arrived today - boy oh boy am I a happy camper!!!

Top is a '57 the bottom is a '78 ... pic doesn't do them justice but I'm not Howard, either

I think I will but probably not the original Colt wood grips - I want a bit more in the hand than that. I really like these:
