Well, now I went and did it. At an NRA Basic Pistol class last month, the instructor mentioned that my wife might want to get a similar SW 22 lr pistol to supplement her SW 686. (cheaper shooting-she is deadly with the 686) This, for some reason (another gun

), made sense to me. So, me being the thoughtful hubby I am, I bought her a SW 617 for her birthday next week. (She was with me). Then the devil got hold of me and I thought, it would be nice for me to pick up a Colt Diamondback in 22lr to shoot with her when we go out. $1200 and Gunbroker later... ![]() I am Joe and I am a Gunaholic.

			Exalted COTEP fellows,

With FFL to FFL transfer, I won't have the Diamondback in hand for at least a week, so NO I can't take any pictures-yet. For whatever reason, the forum would not allow me to upload the jpg's taken from the website. But, since you besmirch my veracity, I have attached a photo of the S&W 617 ![]() ![]() and will email a jpg of the diamondback to the webmaster of the forum.Best wishes,

, the website will not let me upload the jpg's of the Diamondback. I tried different pictures, but only got:pix634193412.jpg: Upload of file failed. It was that the smith & wesson pic went through with no problem. Is this a Wesson bias of the software? Have I exceded my upload allowance? Inquiring minds want to know. All the best, Joe

I had the same problem. I went to my profile, and under "Pictures and Albums" created an album, and was able to upload the picture there.
