Took the Escort out today for a quick range trip. I shot 100rds of 230gr ball out of it with no hick-ups at all. 100% reliable so far. 50rds of Remington ball and 50rds of PPU ball. I had more to shoot through it but, I forgot to loc-tight the grip screws and they came really loose (forgot my allen wrenches at home as well

). Grip review here ------>

I did not take dirty pics because, it really did not even get dirty (outside) with only 100 rounds. So, sorry no pics this time.
This little fireball shoots great. If I did my part, I was shooting 2-3" group at 10yds unsupported. In a six round string, I had two shots through one whole twice and a flyer (still with-in 3" grouping). The sights were dead nuts, although I prefer a 6 O'clock hold. I did not adjust them this time, I can wait till I have more rounds down range to see if POI changes with break-in.
I did have one squib load from the Remington box but, the bullet had enough power to leave the barrel. I did field strip it(after the "poof") and checked just to be sure everything was ok, it was.
All in all, it was a successful hour or so at the range for the Escort.
PS: About a third of the brass ejected straight on my forehead. Seems its throwing the brass straight back over my head sometimes smacking me on my forehead.

. Will this work itself out or will I need to tune the extractor?
