I have noticed that foods stored need to be stored correctly or it will take the horrble taste of cardboard. I tend to look at my pantry as being food storage. I rotate the pantry and would do pretty good for 3-4 weeks on the lean side and before storm season I stack some good buys deep.
Contact Wise at their site and you can get a free sample. Some have said Wise is a little saltier than Mountain House. I have never tried Mountain House.
