The rear for '08s and '09s is a Novak LoMmount cut. 2010s and later have Heinie cuts.

You'd have a hard time finding a better lightweight compact 1911 for carrying.....and shooting. The recoil is a little stiffer than a full sized steel 1911, but it's very shootable indeed.

With some cartridges, I use different brass...
With some cartridges, I use different brass brands to make it easy to identify different loads that use the same bullet.
I've used all of the ones listed except CBC with good results.

I'd be absolutely shocked it if gave any more...
I'd be absolutely shocked it if gave any more than 1500 fps from a 16" barrel....just not enough powder in the little case to get much of an improvement. My Sierra manual shows a max of 1350-1400...
