Finally made it to range this week and no...

Finally made it to range this week and no surprises. About 30 230 FMJs, couple dozen each of 200 SWCs and 230 Golden Sabres without a hitch. Need more time getting use to the Heinie 8s tho. Love it.

The slide(s) are forward on all of my semis as that is how they are stored and I am ready to load them. The slides are usually back on my semis when I am ready to reload them as the slides lock back...

I was his test case on a snap on. First one was set a bit too low and on second design (no charge) raised it a bit. Works fine and do not carry 1911 often so use it in the field/hunting.

Could be a good alternative caliber in 1911 format. Personally I would do it only as an extra barrel for one of my 1911 10mm pistols. Current 1911 line up is about 5 in 45acp, 2 in 10mm & 1 in 9mm.

Cannot answer your first post but I used a commander in a 5" holster (glad it was not my Sparks) on a hunting trip and after 3 days the bottom of the holster was squashed, wrinkled, etc.
