Mosin Nagant!!

Well I just made use of my C&R license for a firearm purchase and ordered a Mosin Nagant 1891/30 rifle. Hopefully I will get a good one. Pictures when it arrives!!!

I have always wanted one, why I have no idea but I went ahead and put in the order with Aim Surplus.

I don't have one but a buddy of mine has 4 or 5 of the darn things. He just loves em. He has one modified for a deer rifle too....

I love mine. It came covered in cosmoline and took loving carry cleaning. Had a scope put on it by the gunsmith and its a blast. I can shoot a 4 inch plate at 200 yards with no problem.

Well I finally finished getting the cosmoline off after a good break down and soaking the parts in mineral spirits which by the way works great!!! I might work on the stock or I may just leave it as is!!

That really is nice...I like the older rifles just as they are...looks classic!

Congrats John, that looks purty! Now I see why all the hub-bub is about them!

Ellison, for less than $109.00 with shipping is not a bad deal!!! Need your C&R license though!!!:)

I keep seeing crates full of them at the gun shows, but haven't got one yet. I may need to actually pick one up to look at it more closely next time.

I think I'd rather have a 1903 A3, but $100 is pretty darn cheap.
