We're all good people, family people, and just like-minded individuals."
No comment needed here.

Guess he's not familiar with something called the 2nd Amendment.

Interesting article.

Clearly, his opinions have been shaped by his environment.

So happy I live in a free state...

Agree. "In NYC you need a permit to shoot a gun". WTF is this crap. Just another reason for me to never visit a commy state like this.

Good read though

Yeah, that line pissed me off too. The condescension dripping off of the AHole New Yorkers always spoils my visits to the Big Apple.

DITTO. I'm sure that in the context of where his gun range operates, he's a radical conservative! But yes, his opinions are shaped by his environment.

I'm so happy I live in a free state, but people, if you want your rights to remain and grow you must actively participate in electoral processes, write your legislators, mobilize when needed, etc.

Yeah he made a couple cultural mis-speaks but on the whole I look at him as the last beacon of hope New Yorkers have in that fight. If he closed up shop like the Liberals want then there would be even more road blocks to exercising 2A. Besides, like it or not the majority of the people in this country views NRA members like that. Right or wrong it is a stereotype that exists. That is why I put my NRA sticker on my hybrid Honda Insight, also on our Honda Pilot, I do it proudly everywhere I pick my kids up and everywhere I shop so that people may start to think that the NRA is not what they have been led to believe. If you perpetuate the stereotype it is reinforced with every news story. In most of the countries eyes "NRA Man" is perceived the same as "Florida Man".

So stop the jokes and work to make the NRA a better perceived organization by being the better person and breaking the stereotype.

"Florida man?"

The public perception of that, if negative; is no doubt brought on by all the damnyankees that've moved down here.

They've damn sure fukked up about everything else!
