more of them
The top 4 are Bagwells, my mountain man bowie made in the 20's in Montana from a model a leaf spring, Ed Fowler bowie, the Brown bowie I designed and had made of a special run of D-2 out of Jessop, Pa. |
Looks like you favor dagger-like blades. Good collection.

Thanks for the thoughts folks,
Andy, I'll see if I can find that pig sticker you're talking about and post it tonight. In the meantime, the stag handled Bagwell bowie featured with a panther sheath on PC's website is the system I carry regularly. I no longer carry folders with sd in mind. |

Hmmm ... I think there might be a Bowie in my future.
Any suggestions for a good starter knife that won't break the bank? |

You can get the U.S. Army Kabar a bit cheaper:
http://www.amazon.com/KA-BAR-KNIVES-.../dp/B0015NDRP6 Same knife, just different stampings. I bought an Army Kabar to use as a utility knife. I used it as a trowel to dig up dandelions in the front yard. Even digging in rocky soil did not damage the edge. |
