Nice!

Looking good! What optics are you considering?

Caleb 03-23-2014 10:25 AM

A cheapo for now, Primary arms red dot. Pretty good optic for the price, somewhere around 100 bucks. Eventually, I will get and Eotech that is lightweight.

Very cool looking AR! Did you do the paint? It looks great.

I have the same question. Looks good Caleb.

Caleb 03-23-2014 10:40 AM

Thank you and yes I painted it. Duracoat air dry paint, it should hold up well (I don't thrash my guns).

Burris FastFire III's are really nice little red dots, I've got two of them and a FastFire II.

I was looking at those for one of my Mini 14's. Decided to stick with irons and save the optic purchase for my pending LE6920. A lot of folks say go with an Aimpoint or EO - do you have negatives to report with your Burris optics?

I don't have anything negative at all to say about them, I really like the FastFires.

Will check tonight if I get a chance. I have added MBUS sights and the optic and sling.
