Awesome, a topic that I don't remember being talked about on here.

When we moved 2 years ago the house we purchased had a full size table. I never really played that much was actually going to sell it. Wife grew up with a table, and her brother is a really good player both said we are keeping it. BIL said get a high end cue to use and a few decent "house" cues for everyone else. So I did get one and Lisa got one and started playing. Not the best player by any stretch but getting better. I play more in the winter, not much in the summer. Great fun I have found out but also can be frustrating as all get out!!

Who else???

I gave my pool cues to my granddaughter just this year. I just couldn't do Lucille and Rachel justice anymore. I still love the game.

Moneybags! They are $$$

Grizzman 11-14-2016 11:36 PM

I play approximately once a month, and more often that that during the summer. I don't ever recall turning down an opportunity to play.

We have a good table.
My daughter was really into it for a while, which is why we bought the table. And I played frequently at first...

My old man was a pro bowler so I grew up playing pool and hustling the older kids out of their money. Haven't played in years

AFJuvat 11-15-2016 09:11 AM

I preferred 9 ball over 8 ball.

Agree, like 9 ball....a bit more tactical to play.

Yeppers, I agree.

We have an Olhausen 8ft. for about 18 years now. Since we move to the farm in 04 it has lived in my shop. I don't get to play anywhere as much as I would like to. I killed the old ranch house a couple of years ago, the new house has a 1800 sqft. basement... When I get it finished guess whose moving in.:D

Beer & Pool... nanner

Dang, entry level cues now are 300-400 for them. Nice stuff.

Factory is in WI, so I actually went over and picked it up for the heck of it.

I used to play quite a bit when I was in my twenties. Haven't played in a while. My parents have a table and when I visit them we play a bit. Having a pool table is plain fun!

We had one when I was a kid, but I never took it seriously, and I haven't touched one, since.

Just like skiing.

Used to have my own table at my old house, lots of fun. I was never any good at it but, I tried. Don't play much anymore.

jmlutz 11-15-2016 07:13 PM

When I was in high school I played pool nearly every afternoon and night at the pool hall in town. When I moved off for college I got away from it, never got started back again. I used to love it.
