Okay folks.
I do believe that the first step with addiction is admitting that you do have a problem. With that being said, I have a problem. So I walked into the gun shop today to drop off my 338 win mag to ship to its new owner and I decided to look around. That is when I found this.

Put some rounds thru the little guy. I like 'em a lot and bought one last week for wife and it failed to reset repeatedly and is now back at Smith.
I think I'm going to grab a .40 |
Looks almost like a pocket 9mm?????????

What is the world coming to? Make sure to get a plastic holster, and turn in your man card. Are you selling your 10's?:D

A friend of mine has one of these... swears by it.... really likes it. Good for you!

Doug I'll join you for therapy. I gave in and picked up a .40 today. LEO price almost gives them away.(319.00) My wife has the nine I sent back for failure to reset and I may let her have the .40. I can't decide whether to load it with Underwood hot hot stuff so she will give it to me, though.
I'm always a little leary of a carry piece that has to go back to the mother ship. |

Yeah that's a great price. Good little guns from what I have noticed. |
Any pistol with a Model 10 as a Grampa can't be all bad.
|
Well, the nine is back home and functioned well. It's a pretty accurate little guy. The wife is confident and has replaced her Kahr CM9 now.
The .40 also worked without a hitch. The first rounds of "DRT" I bought when I didn't know better were grouping terribly. Then I switched to a hodgepodge of 20 to 25 year old ball I had collected over the years and it did much better. It ate everything including hot Corbon 135's, HST, Ranger etc. Might make a nice little BUG. |
Addendum to the Shield story:
Today I installed the Apex duty/carry trigger kits. They were almost 100 bucks each, hard expense to justify on a 319.99 pistol, but really worth the expense! The first installation took quite a while and the ability to watch/pause the installation video was priceless. Second install was a piece of cake. The trigger difference is night and day on these little pistols. |
Double post....
