Well I've got good news... and I've got bad news.....

you'll need two more "six's" to add to your collection!!!!!

prior to '75 the Security Six was a square butt, low back frame
they didn't have a "speed" or"police/service" name on them they just had fixed or adj. sights, (I have a 2-3/4" fixed sight and have been searching for a 4" fixed for a while). Ruger did this for 2 years.
I personally like the look of the older design better, but with the original wood the recoil rolls the revolver up in your hand with .357 loads.

I'll have to find the orig. wood grips, I'll add a picture when I do........
