It's a wholesale club like Costco and Sam's Club.

Costco has the GunVault SpeedVault SV500 right now for $60. Prices good through 6/21/17.

Let us know how it works out. I've read a lot of complaints about them. Some work great, others don't. Many initial positive reviews...until they had it a few months. Customer Support has hold times in the hours (always a bad sign)

Well, truth be told it's going back. Nothing really wrong with it, but it's too big to mount next to the bed and also considering our main safe is only 4-5' away from the bed, it's kind of redundant to have 2 safes only feet apart.

I looked around downstairs to mount it and no location was suffice there either.

Mayla, in her infinite wisdom, asked if we could mount it under the coffee table or end table, something she'd seen in the movies. But since it's a vertical, drop down style safe, I said no. But, it did get me thinking as to mount a holster under the coffee table, so that a pistol would always be there at the ready.

Yes, I know CARRYING a pistol would make more sense, but y'all know my predicament regarding CCW.

You can't carry in your own home? As much as this state sucks people can carry in their own home or business without worrying about a carrying permit.

Oh, I can carry within the confines of my house. I was speaking figuratively about carrying in general.

The only thing Ell carries is a bag of twinkies to work.
