My 1911's reside in leather and sharkskin, but Jim and S cott did a great job on my Perrin Bowie sheath, and I have some other knives I'm looking to have them make sheaths for

I have to admit to having a kydex for two beater 1911's I own. I carry them both, each is deadly accurate with 3 pound triggers. And both look like I found them in a junkyard. I agree as an old school guy that 1911's have a natural home in quality skin/leather....but.....speed of draw can only be from kydex. |
I've had two kydex knife sheaths made by Panther so far; and they won't be my last purchases there by a long shot!

I have both Jim's IWB and OWB holsters for each of my guns. I have given about six away as gifts and his holsters are the only holsters I carry in the shop other than those piece of c**p uncle mike IWB and other pocket holsters.
Jim's holsters are extraordinary, the fastest holster I have seen, and all who have them LOVE them. I now have about fifteen other holsters cluttering up a drawer and never used. Franklin |
I use nothing but Panthers. Expecting one in a day or two for my new Colt. I'll post a pic when it arrives.

I think Panter Kydex is a good match for the 1911.

Nice! My K-K-K-Kimber often rides in a Panther OWB that is the closest fitting holster I have ever owned. What a great collaboration this partnership of builder and tester has turned out to be! :hail::hail:

I have several Panther holsters, lost count somewhere along the line, they are all great.
Just got my first Panther sheath, this thing is a work of art. So good that I ordered another one almost as soon as I received it. |
